Travelling by road is fun and sometime not depending on the distance, time and comfort. On September 19, I left Accra heading towards Bolgatanga for the second time in my life, the first time was through our mappy and adenterous trip across Ghana.
Sitting in a bus for 14 good hours on bumpy and smooth roads for the love of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and spreading it. Myself and Nii Okai represented Linux Accra in Bolga; supporting and helping bring the celebration of FOSS to Bolga and the Northern part of Ghana for the first time.

Over the weekend (31 July - 1 August) myself and other Ghanaian OpenData enthusiasts and hackers were present at the OpenData Hackathon organized by CodeforGhana and NITA.
It was great and fun but one thing I really was disappointed about was the absence of persons from NITA. I was expecting them as the hackathon was in partnership with them. I really had lot of questions for them though. It was all about OpenData and most datasets used were downloaded from Data.

Greetings,
In my last post I said I’ll share with you why I decided to use Ghost looking at all the free blogging platforms around, such as Blogger, Worpress and the rest.
Yes I know, I have a blog on Blogger why I used to share my ideas and thoughts. I can login and write a blog post any where thanks to Google.
Since Ghost runs on Node.js, I have it set up on my laptop running Linux Mint 17.

Hello and welcome to my new home on the Internet. This blog is powered by Ghost and on Github static pages.
For 7 days now I've been trying to make 'npm start' work on Linux Mint 17.1 for #Ghost but no way. :( #nodejs is installed and running well.
